My name is Andrew.

I was born and raised in Mississippi, left and came back to find it had turned into something stranger than I remembered. That feeling turned into Caterpillar. My genre-shifting tale of friendship, far-fetched conspiracies and the deep weirdness of the American South. I currently live in Colorado with my wife and our cat.

Some of my own favorite writers range from Kurt Vonnegut and Thomas Pynchon to Jennifer Egan, Emily St. John Mandel and Denis Johnson. I enjoy running as a way to try and conjure up more ideas but these things take a while.

Caterpillar is my debut novel.
