Caterpillar follows James “Jumbo” Green – a contractor at a new low and looking for any opportunity for an escape from his day-to-day life. He accepts a conveniently timed job offer with full relocation to Tennessee to construct a tunnel in the middle of nowhere. With his team of three, Jumbo and crew attempt to put together the pieces behind their new employers and find themselves in too deep working for a mysterious family with longstanding ties to Jumbo himself. What follows is a genre-shifting story into the heart of darkness told from multiple perspectives with twists and turns on every page.
